Machu Picchu in March

What a fabulous experience! Making the arrangements was effortless. The team at Inca Trail Reservations took care of all the details so that all we needed to do was concentrate on the trek. Manuel was our guide and his knowledge of Incan history and culture was superior, so we not only completed one of the most challenging hikes of our lives, we also learned a great deal. The porters were like supermen!! Always smiling and pleasant and making sure we were well taken care of. Simone was our chef and the meals were delicious, including a full size cake with icing and decorated!! Our group was small which I feel made for a better experience and closer bonding with our trek mates. I would highly recommend Inca Trail Reservations for anyone considering this trek, but beware, everything you have read is true! It is physically demanding and should not be taken lightly. Completing this trek at the age of 50 was a thrill of a lifetime. Do it if you can and this group was the bomb!! Thank you again, Manuel and the fabulous porters and chefs for making this trip such a joy!
