Chat on WhatsAppWe had an absolutely awesome time. It was one of if not the most amazing thing I've ever done. It was also the most physically challenging thing i've done and I ran two 1/2 marathons last year.
Our guide Maritza, was the best. She was funny, informative, knowledgable and a great leader. We couldn't have asked for anyone better. The Porters amazed us each day with their super human efforts. Each day they cooked us amazing, tasty food, set up our tents and got us moving so that they could pack everything up, race ahead of us and do it all over again at the next camp site. It was a very impressive effort all running like clock work.
We also made some great friends on the trek. People of all ages and from all over the world came together to do this trek and we all bonded and shared our joy at the site of Machu Picchu. It is an experience that I will never forget.
