Chat on WhatsAppI was very happy with my experience using Inca Trail Reservations ! My friend and I am from USA and booked everything (the trek & porter) online. We were unsure what to expect and upon arriving to Peru and wanted to make sure this was an honorable company. After arriving in Cusco, and meeting with the staff/guide our fears were relieved that this was a legitimate company with a wonderful reputation!
Before the trek we were given a information session which was extremely important and prepared me well for what to expect. My friend and I did the 4days/3nights trek option. I would suggest booking early, because it is very popular and fill up quickly. I am so proud of myself for making the decision to hike to Machupicchu. This is a trek that anyone of all ages can do, the hiking guide allows each person to go at their own pace. I felt physically challenged and accomplished when I completed the trail and made it to Machupicchu!
By far, this was one of the best experiences I have had! The guide was kind, informative, funny and answered all questions that we could throw at him. I was most impressed with the food preparation and variety that was available to us. Both me and my friend I did the trek with were stuffed with best food I could imagine each meal! Overall, I would love to do this trek again in a few years. However in the future, I would be sure to bring very light backpacks and ALL waterproof gear, because it rained briefly during the day and at night. I would deferentially recommend this company to anyone traveling to Cusco!
The tour was an excellent time. Everything was very well organized. From being picked up at the airport in Cusco, to being picked up at our hostel for the trek, and then helping us with other logistics. Everything went according to what I expected.
The food on the trek was really delicious. The stuffed pepper we had on the last dinner was very good. Also, the chef prepared a very yummy birthday cake in honor of one of the trekkers in our group.
Jose, the tour guide, prepared us well and was very helpful at explaining the Inca sites during the trek. Also, thanks to Jose, we were the first group to arrive at the Sun Gate.
Machupicchu was a beautiful site to see and very interesting. It was really good to learn a little bit about their way of life.
I would definitely recommend this tour company to other travelers.
