Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu September 08, 2011

We had the Inka Trail Hike (2 Days) and it was just wonderful! We saw so many great things in the way and we heard so many histories. Our guide, Marco, was really passionate and he told us a lot of nice inka stories. All the symbols, the popular beliefs…it made everything much more interesting. Despite of all the uphills and stairs (and the pauses to recatch the breath), it was really worth it.

After the long walk, the best thing was being able to see Machupicchu through the Intipunku. That huge mountain in the middle of nowhere, with so many complex buildings… it was breathtaking!

I’m glad a chose this option to visit Machupicchu as it was everything I expected for this trip.
