The logistics were flawless, the food was great, Machu Picchu was unforgettable, and the company delivered on everything promised. My only word of caution for those considering the Salkantay trek is that it is definitely the hardest of the common treks into Machu Picchu, and is pretty physically challenging at various points, especially with the altitude of this trek in particular. Also, we went during the tail end of the rainy season, which brought amazing views and lush scenery, but also a lot of mud along the trails.
