The Inka Trail was absolutely amazing!!. 4 days with a great group and some beautiful and manageable challenges!. The trip is composed of a first day of acclimatising to being active(which is really good if, you've been spending the last month drinking), a second day of personal challenge scaling the Dead Woman's Pass at whatever pace you feel like, and a third day of a long walk that feels short, being full of cultural experiences and easy terrain.
And then comes the day you've been waiting for: Machu Picchu! The place is everything you could imagine! Not much more can be said - though it is definitely to be preferred in the sunshine! .
Inca Trail Reservations had made all the arrangements for us to have a great trip, and I for one did!
Just remember to pack lightly.
