5 exhausting but wonderful days around the Salkantay . We started early in the morning from cusco to the starting point of our hike. Our luggage was carried by 4 horses. We slept in tents. The daily food prepared by the guiding cooks was really good. The trek were different in difficulty and experience. Every day was a new adventure. The nature, the weather, the plants and the animals. The temperature was from 0\’ celsius to 27\’. I would do the same trek with the same team, guide and cook again. It was a unique adventure in a wonderful country with lovely people.
