Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu

I had a great time doing the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu with Inca Trail Reservations / Salkantay.org. The orientation in Cusco before the trek was very helpful -- Victor (one of the guides) answered all our questions and allayed our fears. The trek itself was beautiful and very well organized.

The best part of the trek was the staff. Ramiro, our guide, was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and helpful. Our cooks prepared superb meals for us every day, which was especially impressive given that they only had a small burner and headlamps to work with. Our horsemen took care of our bags and helped us with setting up tents.
