The trip is a lot of fun. They say it's very difficult but it's not as bad as its made out to be. Definitely difficult but very rewarding and the guide makes sure nobody is going faster than they need to be.

Ramiro our guide was very good at keeping the mood light and fostering a family mentality throughout the trek.

Be prepared to see snowy mountain peaks as well as swim in hotsprings in the jungle. The cooks and porters were extremely hard working and pleasant. Ramiro was extremely fun guide to have and he got a little crazy with us one night.
