Our guide, cook, and porters made the whole trip possible and I am so thankful for them. My favorite place overall was the cloud mountain. What an amazing place! . Our guide, Rony, told us the story behind the cloud mountain and it touched my soul. the mystical way the clouds moved about peaks and the essence of the place made me want to sit and absorb it for hours.
I learned so much about the inca culture from Rony it made the hike so much more meaningful. I'll never forget the term "inca flat"! It does not mean "flat" by a long shot! This hike was definitely more about the journey than the destination!!
