I can not even begin to explain how amazing this trip was for me. This was one of the most difficult things I have ever done and I could be more proud of completing it. The group and the guides were so amazing and supportive. Even before beginning the hike, I had a previous knee injury and it affected everything. With the support of the group, my friends, and the guide, I was able to accomplish the highest and longest trek I had ever accomplished. Words could not even begin to describe the pure beauty of the Inca Trail . From breath taking mountain tops, to deep jungle paths, every moment was one I could hardly believe was real. Though I was putting my through a physical gauntlet, I hated and loved at the same time, I was always mesmerized by every single moment. I could not have been more happy with the group I went with, and the experience I had. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of trying this life changing experience.Through the sun and rain, the highest peaks and lowest lows, I am in love with the Inca Trail.
