I wouldn't necessarily call myself outdoorsy but this trip might have changed that. Yes, there were tons of stairs and there were really rough patches of hiking but overall I was happy and relaxed throughout the trip. The guides take time to point out interesting spots and plant life.
I always felt I was in good hands. The food was delicious, the group we hiked with was very friendly. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to practice much Spanish. Almost everything was in English. Yes, my feet hurt and I didn't feel fresh as a daisy on day four, but this trip was well worth the effort.
