I did the last day

I broke my foot in Lima three days before the hike and was devastated that I couldn't make it with my husband, sister, and brother in law. However, I went with my mom and aunt to Machu Picchu to meet up with my family and the rest of the group.

I walked through Machu Picchu on crutches and Jimmy and Rony helped carry me up and down the steps while my husband carried our baby. The guides were so sweet and they made me feel like a part of the group even though I was only there for the last day. The rest of the group was very sweet and welcoming too.
