The Toughest Honeymoon…

This trek was one of the hardest and most rewarding experiences of my life. It's not a traditional honeymoon destination but Christine and I have loved every minute of it and felt really lucky to be put with a fun group of people.

Lisandro wasn't lying when he described each day...easy, hard, long and climbing up and down Salkantay nearly broke us, but we made it! All the hard work that we had to put in was worth it and we made the most of the chance to celebrate in Santa Theresa, partying long into the night (well past 8pm anyway) and making Peruvian friends.

So now all we have to do is get to Machu Picchu, and we can't wait!.
