The Wonder Trip

Visiting Machu Picchu, one of the World Wonders, has been a dream with several years.

After reading about the Inca Trail, we started to prepare this amazing adventure! It was a long journey of reading testimonials, seeing pictures and preparing the detailed logistics to make this challenge possible.

Even with all this preparation, I could not imagine the challenge I was going to face. I am sure I would not be able to complete the Inca Trail without the help off our fantastic tour guides and porters, who were unstoppable in helping, explaining and making our trek much more bearable.

Now, after finishing this awesome trip, I can say for sure that it was the most beautiful thing I have ever done. There´s not a picture nor a testimony that can explain the breathtaking views and mystic environment that accompanies us along the path. The amazing food (my sincere congratulations to the cook Modesto, who made gastronomic wonders and heavenly food), the captivating guides and the adventurous people that compose the expedition makes this experience absolutely unique!

Of course I need to have I final word about the arrival to Machu Picchu through the Sun Gates. I could not imagine a better way to end this marvelous journey.
