As very inexperienced hikers, we were a little apprehensive about taking on this experience, but wow, it was phenomenal !!. Our guide, chef and supporting porter team were excellent. Our guide (Joanna) was fantastic informative, fun and a great motivator when times got tough! The food was fabulous, much better than we ever imagined for a trip of this kind. The views, archeological sites and ultimately Machu Picchu were breath-taking and well worth the excruciating pain of legs, feet, shoulders and basically everything else! What an incredible trip, I would highly recommend to anyone, along with a masseuse post-experience! An unforgettable trip of a lifetime!.
