Great beauty comes with great difficulty

The guide, cook, and porters were great in guiding us along a beautiful yet difficult trek. They made sure we felt as comfortable as possible, and all part of a family.

The trek itself had a lot of ups and downs with gorgeous views. We hiked to Inca ruins and got to hear the history behind it all. Make sure to drink enough water, and be ready to hike during rain or shine, warm or cold.

Though pack as light as possible or make use of porter services. Overall it was a good experience. Next time I'll take the train.
