Chat on WhatsAppThe Inca trail hike was a huge success and I would recommend Inca Trail Reservations to my friends and family. We began with an orientation the day before our trek began and Victor, our guide, went through everything we should bring and expect. We left Cusco at 5:30am and baggage our hike at 9:30 the same day.
I do have to admit the hike was a bit more challenging than I was anticipating, however it made me feel more accomplished. Victor was very insightful and knowledgeable about the archaeological sites and towns. The porters worked very hard to keep up safe and comfortable the whole time and the food was surprisingly delicious - considering that we were up in the mountains.
Our group consisted of Americans, Canadians, and Belgians which made it a cultural experience in itself. Each day we stopped and ate breakfast, lunch and dinner with them which was prepared for by the group cook.
Inca Trail Reservations made it a one stop shop to get you from your hotel of stay to the Inca Trail to Machu Piccu and back to your hotel of stay again. This was a trip in a lifetime that I will never forget.
