What a trip !

This was my first hiking trip outside of England. It was such an amazing trip. Each day we experienced different scenery; from mountainous landscapes to bamboo filled rainforests. Our tour guides Carlos and Odi were excellent. They were very helpful, imparting lots of the knowledge about the Incas and the land along the way.

The porters all deserve medals. They hop along the whole trip with as much as 28 kg on their back and then get to campsite to prepare some of the best food we experienced in Peru. The equipment provided was all up to scratch. I ended up not even using my sleeping bag liner because the sleeping bags were so clean.

Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable trip and I would thoroughly recommend Inca Trail Reservations .
