During the treck we saw many interesting historical sights. Victor our tour guide was very knowledgeable about all of these and gave us explanations about all of them in perfect English. As well as the historical sights we saw some spectacular scenery unlike any other place I had seen before.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the treck and although it was challenging in places all the people involved did their best to make sure it was enjoyable as possible. The porters who carry the camping and food supplies always had smiles on their faces as they raced down the mountains. While Victor the tour guide would always lift up our spirits and make us laugh if we were feeling low. Furthermore the food was absolutely amazing. Every day the chef would prepare 3 fantastic meals that were full of flavour and one morning even baked us a cake. The food always gave us the energy for the day ahead and we never went hungry.
When we got to Machu Picchu on the final morning words could not describe what we saw. It was stunning and the photos do not do it justice. We were given a full tour by Victor which was fascinating.
I would recommend Inca Trail Reservations to anyone. They guarantee memories that will last a life time.
