Salkantay adventure

Carlos, the king of the mountain, was the perfect guide for our Salkantay adventure - telling us about the history, flora and fauna of the beautiful and totally changeable landscape and always keeping our wee family happy.

Although the weather was erratic at best everyone made the most of it. Soaked on the first day by horizontal rain, Battling through blizzards and sweating through jungles. Always with good spirits. The stars at night were incredible. Every campsite we reached was more beautiful than the last. Every meal the chef prepared was more impressive than the last, and the scenery became more and more awe inspiring as we went.

Definitely an experience that I will keep with me for a very long time. Thank you family!
