Chat on WhatsAppBest hiking trip in my life! . We started the 31rd of December - very early in the morning. It shouldn't stay the only early wake up 😉.
On the way to Ollantaytambo we got to meet the others - all very sleepy. Right from the beginning it seemed to be a funny group. The first hike from km 82 to Wayllabamba was inkaflat - easy peasy. When we arrived at the campsite the porters and the kitchen crew already prepared everything. Thank you guys, it was fantastic to have you with us!
Second day was the hardest, but you should try it by yourself. We all made it!!ðŸ‘ðŸ‘👠This day ended as well with a five star menu.👌.
The third day started - like every day - with "room service", which means hot tea was brought to each tent.
The hike was the most interesting, because Paul taught us a lot of stuff about the inka culture - he was the best and funniest guide I ever had. This day ended with a surprise: the porters and kitchen crew prepared pizza and a cake (remember we were in the mountains!!!).
The last day started at 3 am to get the best spots at the entrance gate. After the "run" we arrived at the sun gate, where we waited till the fog cleared of and we first saw this amazing place called Machu Picchu! Paul showed and told us more interesting things about this mystic place.
