Chat on WhatsAppThe four days of the hike was the most fun that I have had in a long time. Our two guides, Richard and Ivan, were always concerned with our safety and well being. Two professionals to be sure. The food was amazing and enough to fill our bellies all the time. The porters were unbelievably strong and reliable. They always had a smile on their faces and had everything at our campsites ready and we never had to wait for anything. Whether it was a warm drink of tea or a nice cold drink, they had both.
The tour itself was a very spiritual experience that I will take with me wherever I go. The views were spectacular and even if you look at pictures, they will not do the sites justice. I sincerely have never been in an area like that. Simply beautiful. We were always aware of our progress during the trek and kept up to date with any and all change. In a way I wish it could have lasted forever. I would highly encourage any and all to do it. From young to old.
It is a bit of a hard trek at times but well worth the effort. Day four when you come out of the jungle and get your first view of the site will take your breath away and as you progress down the trail it just gets better and better. Once you are there you will not be disappointed. Always keep your eyes open and enjoy all of the beautiful scenery on the trek and the site itself. If you are one that enjoys outright spiritual journeys, this is something you absolutely have to do.
