A little bit of everything!

Absolutely amazing experience. I couldn't recommend this tour more highly! As far as the trek: it's a fairly difficult hike given the elevation, but every step is worth it.

You get a bit of everything. High and dry landscape, huge snow covered mountains looming over you, cloud forest, flowers, birds, and of course, Machu Picchu! As far as the tour: it is extremely well organized. Our guide, Carlos, was fun and informative. The food was incredibly delicious.

The tents were spacious, and the wake up call is a hot cup of tea delivered to you in your sleeping bag! We were far more pampered than I had expected.This is a well-run tour and a gorgeous hike. Definitely do it if you have the chance!.
