The inka trail to Machu Picchu was a life changing experience. I am very satisfied that i decided take the trek rather than the bus ride to the machu picchu. The food was amazing. It was much better than a few restaurants I had in Cusco. I was able to experience local Andean food from local people. The views during the trek were breath taking. I have never been to a place like it. The advantage of doing the inka trail is to experience the struggle and pleasure of hiking through a beautiful part of the country of Peru. I would do it again.
