Chat on WhatsAppAn absolutely incredible trek from start to finish!. Having never done a long distance hike before I had no idea what to expect, but Victor, Marco and Sergio made everything enjoyable and fun.
The early starts and long days were made easier by a fantastic team of porters and guides. Dead woman's pass on day 2 took a huge toll mentally and physically, but an early arrival at our camp site, followed by lunch, a siesta and happy hour (hot chocolate and popcorn) helped prepare us for the following day.
The views, archaeological sites and company were exactly as promised (breathtaking) but the food was perhaps the most surprising aspect!. The variety on the menu and the quality of food wouldn't have been out of place in a four star restaurant, made all the more incredible considering the porters carried everything with them.
All in all an amazing trek, worth every penny! .
