It was definitely challenging at times, but the only way to experience the Andes & Machu Pichu. Traveling the inca trail & experiencing this with local guides & porters made the adventure that much more enjoyable. We also started our adventure on New Year's Eve & learned about local traditions with our guides & was a wonderful way to bring in the new year.
I recommend this trip highly & was so happy to be a part of such a beautiful experience! We met so many great people, we had a wonderful group of travelers with us from all over the world! My husband & I will always remember this journey & hold it close to our hearts !.
