Overall the Inca Trail was not what I was expecting and I didn't really enjoy the trail. Carlos our guide was brilliant and was a good laugh. He helped me out a lot when I got ill half way round and was very knowledgeable.

The porters worked very hard and the food was very good. Too much rice for me but still good food. Machu Picchu was amazing and so much better than the pictures. Carlos did a very good walking tour and showed us all the key sites and explained everything.

Definitely a massive achievement but not one I want to repeat.
