Carlos the Fabulous

This was the adventure of a lifetime! I loved every moment of the 5 days I spent trekking with my amazing group and guides.

The guide, cooks, and "taxi" driver were so welcoming and friendly. Carlos, our guide, was constantly teaching and sharing his experiences and culture with us! Our guide was so motivating and supportive throughout the difficult parts of the trek and was always making us laugh! The cooks prepared some of the best food that I've ever had and the food was always plentiful.

This beautiful adventure over the Salkantay Pass, through the highlands, cloud forest, and rainforest wouldn't have been the same without our guide! Overall, this was a trip I will cherish forever. I love Peru and the Salkantay Trek.
