We had Ronnie and Jimmy for our Salkantay hike. The trek was more challenging than expected. The first to days had a lot of uphill climbing and the altitude was killer. That being said I couldn\’t have asked for better or more attentive guides. They were always right there with words of encouragement, hot tea and oxygen if you really needed it. The last 3 days of the trip were quite enjoyable with a trip to the hot springs and an option for zip lining. The porters and cooks were amazing and kept us well feed. This was definitely an adventure. Be prepared for a rewarding but challenging vacation.
