Our trail guide (Americo) ensured we were well aware of our plan for tackling the trail, was extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife and flora, highlighted the history and key theories behind each of the ruins we encountered, encouraged us to explore key areas, and overall ensured we had a great experience.
Likewise, our team of porters and cook ensured we had our camp ready before we arrived, fed us extremely well, and overall offered us better service than any high end restaurant. Together, the majesty of the Inca Trail and the exceptional service of the team from Inca Trail Reservations make a trip to Peru well worth being called a trip of a lifetime.
