Chat on WhatsAppI booked my Peru trip very last minute and was unable to do the Inca Trail . But I am so happy that I had the chance to do the Salkantay!! The views were amazing but more importantly I met some amazing people.
Our guide Juan Carlos was fantastic and always made sure we were ok and comfortable. At first I was very worried as I have never camped or hiked but Carlos was always motivating me and maki sure I was ok. The food on the trip was AMAZING!!! My only recommendation would be to add more variety for the breakfast. During the trek Carlos would give us information about plants or ruins which was much appreciated. Accommodations were very comfortable and I was surprised at how well everything was setup. I hike recommend this trip to anyone, advanced or beginner.
I took many pictures which I cannot wait to share! I will surely write a positive review on tripadvisor as everything was simply amazing. Thank you to the team and a special thank you to Carlos and the chef, you made my experience unforgettable. Traveling alone was daunting but it is an experience I will bring with myself forever.
