Chat on WhatsAppI did the Inca Trail with my family and it was quite an experience. Our guide Juan Carlos is extremely knowledgeable and allowed me to understand the history behind our journey to Machu Picchu. The food was amazingly delicious. I have to say I totally under estimated the Inca Trail. It was much more difficult than imagined.
The second day was suppose to be the hardest day, but I have to disagree. For me the hardest day was the third. Going down thousands of steps was not fun, but the views and Mother Nature made up for the pain.
Finally, as we reached our destination looking at Machu Picchu from the Sun Gate, it was the best feeling ever ! The beauty and amazing place left for us to witness and experience. Definitely an experience I will never forget !
