What to say? The landscape the Inca Trail crosses is just beautiful, mountains, jungle and inca ruins! It was the raining season, but by building a pyramid in more than 4000m, Pachamama granted us one wish - few rain and good view. Ronny, our guide did a great job. He brought us over dead woman pass and across all the trail. From time to time, we stopped to learn about plants or inka or to listen to stories from the trail. The porters and the chef did a great job as well. At every campsite, there was a welcome drink waiting, our tents were ready and a nice dish was waiting on the table. Honestly, I almost felt a little bit ashamed that everything was done for me. To sum up, I think visiting Machu Picchu without walking the Inkatrail would not be as far as interesting and you couldn't understand half as much about inka culture. What a pleasure!
Few rain thanks to Pachamama mama
