Freezing first night followed by an amazing trip

Mules, amazing views and some cold nights - if I had just three words to describe our trek those would be my first choice. But of course there was much more to it: cheery guides Paul and Marco waking us up with a fun "waky waky" and a hot coca tea made the start to the day, although mighty early, much easier.

Unforgettable, also the cooks, who, however basic the kitchen was, cooked up various great dishes, always accompanied by some local specialties. Trekking was hard, but truly amazing: from glacier to jungle in 4 hours - from minus degrees to plus 25 degrees in 4 hours - where else can you experience that ?

All in all, although my feet are hurting now, a truly memorable trip !
