Chat on WhatsAppThis was an experience of a lifetime. From the first day of the hike to the finish at Machu Picchu, I was in continuous amazement. Day one and two rained on us on and off, but it added to the experience. It is not every day that you can trek in the Amazon and take in what mother nature provides the earth. Day three the sun came out and provded immaculate scenery that was covered by the clouds two days prior. The night of the third day by far was worth the entire trek. With the clouds no where in sight the entire sky was lit up and was showered with constellations.
I have never experienced anything so beautiful before; breathtaking. On the final day, you become overwhelmed with emotion when you take in your first sight of Machu Picchu. The way the sunrise hits the moutain is like no other, you feel as though the moutain is coming alive. The histroy that this ruin has is remarkable and I felt priviledged to have been able to experience this beautiful mountain.
I am an avid hiker and was extremely grateful for the adventure that the Inca Trail Reservations put together for me. The guides (Raul and Guido) were very informative and passionate about the Inca culture, and the porters were abosutely AMAZING. Not only that, but we were paired with wonderful hikers who I created amazing friendships with, and plan on visting in my future travels.
I will definitely recommend the Inca Trail Reservations to everyone, and I plan on using them again when I come back to trek more of Peru. Thank you Inca Trail Reservations for an amazing experience.
