Great experience, back to basic but so amazing

Doing the Inca Trail was a great experience. The nature was beautiful, the (small) group was great and last but not least the porters, chef and guide Gorge were amazing.

Gorge really told interesting stories about the Inca culture, made amazing photos of us and helped us with everything during the 4 days of hiking. The food of the chef was delicious, respect for cooking like this with less material and luxe. One small thing, we need to carry the backpacks including sleepingbag and sleepingpad by ourselves.. We didn't know this before. It was too heavy, so we hired a porter for day 2 and 3, costs 100 soles per porter per day. The rest was absolutely amazing.
