hard but doable for inexperienced hikers

We were completely inexperienced. We never went on a trek before and we don't practice any kind of sports so we were totally out of shape.

This was our first hiking experience and it was very amazing! We were always the last ones but we made it every day and we are very proud of ourselves! We couldn't have done it without our guide Victor who helped us through it, without the cooks who provided us with good food for our much needed energy or without the horses and horseman who handled our luggage and equipment.

I will never forget the time I conquered the Salkantay trail!.
