Hiking with the King of the Mountain

There's something incredible about hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Its memorable, beautiful, and a once in a lifetime experience that I'll never forget.

We hiked with an awesome guide, Carlos, King of the Mountain. He was amazing in every way - knowledgeable, a great teacher and leader, and became not only a guide but a friend. Along the trek, he taught us all about the ruins we passed, the Incan culture, and he was truly fantastic.

The rest of the team was also amazing - Modesto made delicious food, and all the porters were great. Hiking there made Machu Picchu even more special and jaw-dropping. It is an experience that I will always hold close to my heart and I'd recommend Inca Trail Reservations and Carlos to anyone.
