Chat on WhatsAppJanuary turned out to be a nice month for doing the Inca Trail, no nasty bites, sunshine through the day but rain at night which was fine as your tucked up in your tent before 9 pm after the early start on the trek. The scenery was fantastic all around you, the flora was amazing, so many different colors in everything, just remember when you stop for a breather always look behind you !
The wildlife was great on the trek, always something to see. The porters are amazing people, they could carry an elephant and still make it look easy while running past you ! Our guide Rony, well what can I say... brilliant, couldn't do enough for us and always made sure we had what we needed and helped out whenever he could.
If you are thinking of doing this trip, Inca Trail Reservations were very helpful from the first moment I contacted them till saying our goodbyes to Rony after the trip. Happy trekking people :-)
