At 66 years old the only thing that kept going through my mind was I CAN\’T DO IT! but with the right motivation and the assistance of really experienced them, I DID IT!. Our guid was a young man Named Raul,his knowledge of the incas and his leadership on the trek was excellent. I was encouraged to do things I never imagined I could do never mind accomplish. I was asked to do a zip line across a canyon, reluctantly I said yes but was really nervous, the guide at Inca Trail Reservation convinced me to just go for it, so I did. I zip lined across a valley nearly 1km wide and 400m heigh. I highly recommend you take the Salkantay trek in Peru, I loved it.
