I survived the hike

Incredible trek. As an incredibly scenic and physically challenging. But the best part of the trip were the first class guides Carlos and Jorge Luis and awesome porters - men among men. Trip of a lifetime. My son and I had a great time. The trail is like no other in the world.

It is also a lot of fun meeting people from all over the world that are part of your hiking "familia". At 55 I was one of two senior citizens in our group, but everyone was nice and understanding that I couldn't keep up with all of the super fit trekkers that I was sharing this journey with.

This has to be the top of your list of places to go. The Inca ruins are beyond words.
