The Inca Trail was a fantastic experience, one that I will remember for the rest of my life. The hiking is challenging in parts but the feeling of satisfaction on reaching Machu Picchu knowing that you have followed in the traditional Inca footsteps is worth the effort, what an amazing place to see. Also on the way there are a number of very impressive Inca sites to be seen, a great taste of the Inca Empire and something that you do not have the chance to see via other routes.
The tour was very well organised, excellent guides full of energy and great information. The food was excellent, every day breakfast, lunch and dinner was varied and of very high quality considering the cooking conditions. Also the equipment on offer was top quality. The porters are also great and almost super human the way the can carry the equipment and still be way ahead of the group to set up camp.
From start to finish all information was made very clear and all communications before the trip via email were excellent. All questions were answered very promptly.
I could not fault the trip at all and would certainly recommend Inca Trail Reservations to friends and other travellers.
