Juan was a very knowledgeable tour guide and very good humored. His expertise and positive and playful attitude made for a very enjoyable experience.
The food was top notch and very tasty and even included a surprise cake on our last night. We always had plenty to eat and if anything I put on weight on my Inca Trail experience. The coca tea in our tent every morning was a very nice touch. On the subject of tents they could do with updating, there were issues with zips and leakages for everyone in the group. Having said that the porters and guides were excellent at dealing with this and fixing it.
Overall I had a very positive experience with Inca Trail Reservations and would recommend to a friend. Just one thing I feel the need to mention is that everyone seemed to have received different information prior to the trip's commencement and we were advised to buy water purification tablets which we did but actually did not need which was frustrating.
10/10 for Juan and Marco and the porters and chef who made our experience so enjoyable and dare I say easy.
