MY EXPERIENCE ON THE Inca Trail WAS VERY VERY REWARDING, THE GUIDES WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL WITH EVERYTHING WE DID. THEY HELPED US ALONG THE WAY, GAVE US TALKS ON PLANTS AND WILDLIFE WE SAW ALONG THE WAY AND ON THE WHOLE WERE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND TOLD US LOTS ABOUT NATURAL WILDLIFE, FLORA AND FAUNA.
THE FOOD WAS EXCELANT THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH NOBODY WENT HUNGRY AND THE WHOLE GROUP WAS FED SUPERBLY, THE FOOD WAS VERY NUTRICIOUS AND EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER A DAYS TREKKING. NO MATTER HOW QUICKLY OR SLOWLY THE GROUP MOVED THERE WAS ALWAYS A GUIDE ON HAND TO BE WITH U AND HELP U.
THE FRIENDLY NATURE OF THE GUIDES WAS A BIG HELP AS SOME PEOPLE MAYBE FOUND IT TOUGHER THAN OTHERS BUT THE GUIDES GAVE EQUAL CONSIDERATION TO PEOPLE OF ALL ABILITIES. I CANT SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH ABOUT THE PORTERS WHO NOT ONLY CARRIED EQUIPMENT BUT SET TENTS UP AND COOKED AMAZING FOOD WHICH WE ALL FOUND TO BE AMAZING. EVEN WHEN IT WAS SOMEONES BIRTHDAY THEY MANAGED TO BAKE A CAKE WHICH LIFTED THE WHOLE GROUPS MOOD.
IN SHORT I CANT SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH ABOUT OUR GUIDES AND STAFF.
