Chat on WhatsAppIt was a great experience to do the inka trail. Our Guide Lizandro made it very special with much information about all inka sights and the history of the ancient culture.
The porters and very skillful cook of the team served us with delicious meals and quickly built up our sleeping tents and meal tents.
Everything was wonderful besides the fact that we had a little miss understand with the company if a porter should carry our backpacks or not. Our contact person Mabel told us, that we would be able to give all our stuff to a porter what we had to pay in the end.
However we are sure that this problem will be solved soon. I am overall satisfied with the entire trip Lizandro guided. However, I must admit, that the facilities were not really European standards. But it is understandable that you will not get a 5 star bathroom in the middle of the mountains.
