My fiancée and I booked with Inca Trail Reservations after reading some positive reviews and their price seemed to be the cheapest. We made the right choice.
From booking online in New Zealand 3 months before to getting off our shuttle bus outside our accommodation after an unforgettable 4 days, Inca Trail Reservations were faultless tour operators.
We stayed at the Inca Trail Reservations accommodation above their office the night before and after the trek. It was reasonably priced and very handy; we even got a free cup of coca tea!
The food on the trek was varied, interesting, tasty and as a result mealtimes were always fun. I don´t know how the chef managed to bake and ice a cake at 38000ft but he did!
I’m not a massive camping fan so arriving at the end of each day to our tent being up and food being cooked was brilliant. All the best bits of camping with none of the hard work!
Our guide, José, was friendly and knowledgeable and knew how to provide us with the best experience. Under his guidance we were the very first group at the sun gate (I worked out that there was only a 6.5% chance of our group being first so this is no small achievement!). The clouds parting that morning to reveal the majesty of Machu Picchu is a moment we will never forget.

My boyfriend and I found Inca Trail Reservations on the internet and thought that the itinerary and price looked just right.
Booking was very easy and we were contacted regularly by the company to assure us that our booking was successful and to keep us informed of the schedule and to provide us with additional information about places to stay in Cusco etc. The Inca Trail was amazing, one of my favorite experiences while travelling.
Our briefing the night before the trip provided us even more details and gave us a day by day account of what to expect. We had a great guide who talked us through the specific information about each Inca site we went past.
The trail was beyond my expectations. We had a great group with people from all over the world. Our porters and chef were fantastic too; they looked after us so well we wanted for nothing.
I would 100% recommend Inca Trail Reservations for the Inca Trail . Easy to book with great guide and loads of fun. The day we arrived at Machu Picchu our guide got us up extra early and as a result we were the FIRST group out everyone doing that trail that day to reach the site. Incredible.
