Seeing Machu Picchu in the morning sun light was worth the 4 day trek as well as waking up at 3:30. The sight was glorious. The tour of Machu Picchu was great as well, very informative and you could tell that jerson, the guide was very interested in what he was telling us.
All the arrangments went off according to schedule. We were very impressed with the tour guide and his setting of expectations for all the trekkers.
One of the things we liked best and were surprised with was the beautiful scenery. It was very green and lush and all along the trail had sights to see every step of the way.
I was especially impressed by the porters and cook in their ability to trek all day and then make delicious meals served upon our arrival to camp.
The trek and overall experience with Inca Trail Reservations was above and beyond all of my expectations. From the guides and food to the campsites and amazing views.
Yerson and Edson were both very kind and considerate of all the trekkers, paying special attention to my Dad who recently had knee surgery, waiting for him and making sure that he was okay. I really appreciated the extra consideration they took to insure that he was healthy and well.
I really did not know what to expect before coming to Cusco and doing the Inca Trail . I was truly blown away by the amazing sights and all the information we learned about the Incas and Machu Picchu.
The food and service was really incredible and very elaborate. One day when my shoes got soaked the porters took them and put them by the fire for me so they would be dry. To me, that was above and beyond the call of duty and I really appreciated it.
I would definitely recommend the Inca Trail to friends and family and especially through the Inca Trail Reservations . We had a great experience, something I will remember for the rest of my life. The positive attitude of the guides and porter only made the experience that much better. Thanks to all who contributed to our wonderful time!
Our experience with Inca Trail Reservations was excellent. I would recommend the trip to others. Highlights include the the beautiful greenery, flowers, trees, mountains and Inca ruins. Machupicchu was overwhelming in the term of setting and expanse.
the guides were very good preparing us for each stage of the trek of the trek and educating us about the Inca Trail . they were very patient and and supportive as I have a very bad knee and I have to go slow on portions, they never made me feel rushed and were always kind, patient and positive.
