The guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the trail and the Inca's, the local flora and fauna, and was able to answer all of our questions. The team that worked the trail were hardworking, I've never seen anyone like them. The porters carried close to 30 kilos up the mountains, and afterwards quickly set up camp and prepared for us a great meal. You definitely will not lack food on this trip, so minimal snacks if you bring any. We were put with a great team from around the world and had a wonderful time playing games and cards in the evenings. It's a good idea to bring cards to play with on the trek.
I would definitely recommend this company and this trek. It is a great challenge and an experience of a lifetime. Making the journey to Machupicchu makes all the difference. When you arrive at the Sun Gate, there is a great feeling of accomplishment, and the view is breathtaking. In my time in Cusco, I enjoyed visiting local markets. It is a good idea if you have the time to tour each archeological site for a day or on a private tour, there is so much to see! Buy the city passes that lasts for about 2 weeks, it will save you money. We stayed at Golden Inka Hotel, a great cheap place to stay. We really enjoyed our time here in Peru.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time on our Inca trek. We hike the 4 day Inca trail; the tour guide was very informative with all his facts. The porters were very helpful with all the food and setting up the tents and dining room. I would defiantly recommend this trip to everyone. All the accommodations were great, with no delays in the transports to and from everyone involved. Very professional people from everyone involved. Machupicchu was amazing, definitely worth the hike to get there. I would recommend travel light, they are plenty of snacks, food, and you will not go hungry. Again I would recommend Inca Trail Reservations .
