Magical

The trek was an incredible experience. From day one it was very well organised. Our luggage was picked up and delivered every day, the tents were put up for us and the staff really cared about our belongings, eg on the 3rd day someone left their shoes out when we went to the hot springs and the chef put them away for safety. The chef and assistant chef cooked amazing meals, plenty of variety and quantity, you did not go hungry. Our guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the history and the local area. He ensured we all stayed together during the walk and we had many breaks on the way. The Salkantay area was magnificent! There were so many incredible sights and the trek challenging but manageable and the added adventure if the zip lining was fantastic. I would recommend this trek to others as an experience of a lifetime.
